November KL Trip
Tuesday, November 13, 2012
Sorry for not posting for quite some time, well I'd say that my KL trip from November 2nd - 4th was a pleasant and fruitful one, was kind of enjoyed although I so happen to fall sick. Lol.On the morning we set off, took a Hyundai i30 cab which I chartered to the airport, we arrived at the airport at 7.15am, flight departure was at 9.30am, reached there early is because someone apparently wanted to snap some pictures of planes.
After which, when we arrived at KLIA satellite Terminal, took the aero train to the main terminal, guess what, the aero train is a Bombardier train set which is currently used by the Bukit Panjang LRT! Arrived at the main terminal shortly after.
From there, we took the KLIA Express train to KL Sentral, took us about 28 minutes, it was damn fast. hehe. From there, we bought a premier taxi coupon and took the premier cab to our Tune Hotel. Oh ya, the premier cab is a Renault.
From there, we checked in to our hotel, had our lunch and then we proceeded to our room. It was small but was still ok. We then wanted to head to Genting when it rains, so we called off the plan and went to Berjaya Times Square instead. We went for a walk there and then went to ktv for a karaoke session, it was fun.
As for dinner, we had problems locating the Pyongyang restaurant there as someone here wanted to have a feast there, but managed to find it eventually. After which, we walked to the hospital there to get a cab, a proton waja, but the traffic congestion at KL is really super bad!!! Its like how PIE and AYE is during peak hours, from Tuas to Lornie takes you 60 mins to travel.
After that, we rested in the hotel and shared our life stories among ourselves.
The next day, we set off for Genting, took the Monorail to Titiwangsa station and we took the GO GENTING! bus, a 280hp Scania L94UB. The bus ride was quite smooth and fast, with a powerful acceleration, but its damn lousy and weak when it takes on the steepest region of the slope when going up Genting Highlands. Then a shocking side occured, a Five Stars MAN 24.480 (the coach which I took for my Genting trip ealier on) overtook my L94UB at ease!!! It went uphill at 70km/h!!!
Finally after a long tiring 40 mins of climbing, we arrived at Genting Highlands, went to the casino and took the skyway before we took the Resort World Genting Scania K340IB back to KL.
On the very last day, we went to Pavilion KL and Berjaya Times Square for shopping, checked out of our hotel at 2pm and headed to the airport, although was kinda reluctant to leave that place. Reach LCCT and went to Starbucks coffee to have a drink. The airport was not well utilized compared to KLIA Main Terminal and of course, Changi Airport. Our flight departed KL at about 6.40pm and we landed about 7.30pm (although I cant remember the exact time), we then chartered a cab back home, $55 from Changi Airport, on the new Mercedes E220CGI Blue Efficiency, a nice cab man!!!
I think thats all I have to say about the KL trip, looking forward to my next Hong Kong trip in Jan. Wonder how is it like? But should be an enjoyable one I guess.
